Remixing Addiction

blindcorner has been in the studio, mixing up “Addiction” from the forthcoming E.P. and has just sent the final cut over. Oh. My. God!!! It’s amaaaaaazing!

“Addiction (blindcorner’s 8-Bit Reshuffle) ” will be a bonus track on the E.P. when it hits in August, and you can check it out below.

So, the new E.P. is currently being worked on as you know, and I thought it’d be nice to share one of the demo tracks from it with you. So, here’s Addiction.

“Daisychains” E.P. recorded, and more!

The “Daisychains” E.P. tracks were recorded on Monday at the Sound Gallery Studios in Exeter, with the assistance of sound engineer Justin Graham. We managed to squeeze six tracks out of a short session and the EP will be available to buy from iTunes, 7Digital, Amazon and all the usual suspects at some point in August!! Woo! Also, you’ll be able to add me to your Spotify playlists very soon, as the record will be available for your perusal from there.

The tracks laid down were “Addiction”, “Butterflies”, “Calmer”, “I’m Not Angry”, “Monster” and “Mr. Warner” and all six should be on the E.P. itself.

Fresh off the presses, the tracks were shipped over to blindcorner, a local producer who’s going to be coming up with a remix or two (check his stuff out here) and is someone I’m hoping to collaborate with on some tracks in the future.

We also headed out to shoot some shots for the E.P. cover, but things didn’t quite go according to plan. Looks like we’ll be doing that again, then…
